VirusKiller™ Air Purifier & Air Steriliser – VK 103

Sold by UV Cleaning Technologies

Description

VK103

The VK 103 has filters at the bottom of the unit for the recirculated air and filters at the back of the unit for outdoor air. All filtered air then goes through our reactor chamber to destroy viruses and neutralise gases. We can also use the VK103 unit to regulate positive pressure for medical and healthcare facilities.

A Powerful Air Steriliser Perfectly Suited for Childcare Facilities, Government Buildings, Leisure Facilities, Commercial Buildings, Office Buildings, Hospital Wards, Waiting Rooms.

Optimized for Positive Pressure Environments

1100 sq ft

VK 103 is best for

Large communal areas and open plan indoor spaces

The VK 103 is a powerful unit that is perfectly suited to open-plan spaces and large areas.

The VK 103 can also be used with a positive air pressure attachment to create positive pressure.

VK 103 has been proven and tested to:

Control airflow to optimise sterilisation in the breathing space

Remove 99.9999% of all respiratory viruses and bacteria

Effectively remove noxious gases and larger particles such as dust, dander and other allergens

A great choice for installing in large rooms, communal areas, hospital wards, offices, hotel lobbies, waiting rooms, restaurants, commercial spaces, childcare facilities, government buildings, leisure facilities, etc…

VK 103 neutralises pathogens in large areas up to 100m2

Low running costs

Simple installation & maintenance

Process for complete air sterilisation

"VirusKiller achieves 99.9999% kill rate"

As air passes through the VK 103, it goes through a 2-stage process to achieve the best results, purification and sterilisation.

The pre-filter, HEPA filter and activated carbon filter take care of larger particles like dust, pollen, smoke and some VOC’s, this is where most “air purifiers” end.

Mechanical filters are limited to what they can trap and what gets through the filters in Radic8 systems is then dealt with in the reactor chamber, this includes viruses.

The patented sterilisation chamber uses a process called photocatalytic oxidation and is designed in such a way that maximises ultraviolet radiation and oxidation to give unparalleled results.

Uniquely, the Radic8 technology is designed to trap dirty air, kill sick air and neutralise toxic air.

VK 103 has been proven and tested to:

- control airflow to optimise sterilisation in the breathing space

- remove 99.9999% (log6 removal) of all respiratory viruses and bacteria

Installation of the VK 103

This is a plug and play unit and does not require specialized installation, however correct positioning in the space will optimise effectiveness. The unit must be positioned in such a way that it is able to pull contaminated air away from the breathing zone in the room and push clean air back out into the breathing zone.

Ideally, airflow from doors, windows or air conditioning units should assist with the unit’s airflow, not go against it.

Positive Pressure System

Thanks to its second filter tray, the VK 103 can be adapted into a positive pressure system by installing separate ducting. The air coming from outside will be sterilized in a single air pass and released into the room, creating positive pressure. The lower filter tray will continue to create an efficient airflow inside the room.

Maintenance of the VK 103

Regular cleaning of the pre-filter is important to keep the unit working at optimum performance. Simply remove the filter tray and vacuum the pre-filter every week. If needed, the pre-filter can also be washed with warm water. Please allow it to dry completely before placing it back into the unit.
