Penta Paints, formerly ICI Paints (West Indies) Limited, was incorporated in 1959 and acquired in 1979 by ANSA McAL Limited, thereby becoming a member of the ANSA McAL Group.  The Company operates its manufacturing plant and main distribution centre from Tumpuna Road South, situated in the eastern borough of Arima. Penta has one other main distribution outlet, Marabella in south Trinidad, and additional company owned Colour Shops in strategic locations spread throughout Trinidad & Tobago.

Penta Paints is committed to manufacturing and supplying quality products; towards this end it acquired and actively maintains the ISO 9001.2004 Quality Management System Certification.

Penta manufactures and distributes a wide range of Automotive, Industrial, Woodfinish and Decorative coatings.  All products are manufactured to satisfy the requirements of a diverse local and regional customer base.

Customer Support And Training

Through its Customer Training courses, Penta continues to provide its Automotive and Industrial Customers with the most comprehensive and up to date training in the application and use of its products.  These courses, recognized as models for the local industry, are held regularly at the fully equipped Customer Service Training Center located in Arima.  This service is provided to both domestic and regional customers.

Additionally, there exists a vibrant and knowledgeable Customer Service and Marketing Team active in both Local and Regional Markets from Belize to Suriname supported by all appropriate functional disciplines.

The Penta Product Manual provides both general and specific paint and coating information to the professional painter.

Computerized Colour Matching

The Penta Brand is able to meet the unique and special demands of architects, interior decorators and homeowners for virtually any colour of decorative paint through its colour centers, utilizing the most up to date computerized colour matching technology.  Additionally Penta offers the ICI Glidden Master Palette System, which contains over 6,000 pre-formulated different shades and is the most complete paint colour system ever developed.
